SERVICE AREA: Northeast Ohio
MISSION: To empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential and to shape the community’s vision of that potential.
PROGRAMS: Cleveland Sight Center is a CARF accredited non-profit agency founded in 1906 that provides preventative, educational, rehabilitative, and other services for individuals who are blind or have low vision, directly serving approximately 14,000 clients annually and many more indirectly through community outreach programs.
In addition, CSC also offers social and recreational activities for clients, hosts camping sessions at its summer camp Highbrook Lodge in Chardon, Ohio , has an on-site Vision Clinic specializing in low vision and routine exams, as well as a retail store featuring products for living well with vision loss.
